The Springbank Road Races have a rich history spanning over 57 years, featuring various distances and attracting numerous national and international athletes since the 1970s. The event has evolved from 3-mile and 12-mile loops to the current half marathon and 5K formats, utilizing the scenic paved pathways along the Thames River in Springbank Park.

Races include a certified Half Marathon, 5K Run & Walk, 2.1K Run, and a Kiddy Trot for children aged 1 to 12, with courses designed to showcase the beautiful Springbank Park and river path system.

• Half Marathon begins with a small loop of Springbank Park, followed by an out-and-back on the Thames River Path system
• 5K Run & Walk is an out-and-back within Springbank Park
• 2.1K Run follows the final 2.1K of the Half Marathon starting at the 19K marker
• Kiddy Trot approximately 250 meters, suitable for children aged 1-12
