The Port Alberni event is a highlight of the Vancouver Island Trail Running Series featuring technical, fast, and flowy trails. Runners can choose between a 22km long course with 530m elevation gain, a 10km short course with 250m vertical gain, and a 1km kids race. All races start and finish at E.J. Dunn Elementary School and conclude with a post-race BBQ.

Participants will find multiple aid stations on the courses and must bring their own drinking vessels as the event is cupless. It's a well-organized trail running experience suitable for diverse skill levels with a welcoming community atmosphere.
