Sticks n' Stones Trail Race 2025

The Sticks n' Stones Trail Race is a scenic trail running event held at Christie Lake Conservation Area in Hamilton, Ontario. Runners can choose from various distances including 5 km, 10 km, 25 km, 50 km, and a 50 km relay option on a rolling, fast, and non-technical dirt course.

Supporting Oceana Canada and sanctioned by Athletics Ontario, this event offers aid stations with water, electrolyte drinks, snacks, and encourages sustainability by being cup-less—participants must bring their own cups or bottles. The 50 km race includes an 8-hour cutoff with an early start option, and limited pacers for seniors over 65.
