Manotick Backyard Ultra 2026

Sat, Oct 3, 2026
Manotick Community Centre, Ottawa, ON

Hosted byManotick Backyard Ultra

The Manotick Backyard Ultra returns to Manotick, just south of Ottawa, on October 3, 2026. It is built around a local coffeehouse hub and a team of organizers tied closely to the neighbourhood, giving the event a distinctly community-run feel.

The race uses the backyard-ultra format: runners repeat the same loop each hour until one finisher remains. That structure shifts the focus to pacing, patience, and consistency, with the day unfolding one lap at a time.

Alongside the ultra, the event includes a 5K and Family 1K, making race day feel broader than a single endurance test. The setting, schedule, and format all lean into a local, runner-first atmosphere.
