Demi Marathon de la voie verte 2025

The Demi Marathon de la Voie Verte is a unique linear half-marathon event held on August 17, 2025, in Chelsea, Quebec, featuring an 18.5 km course along the scenic Chelsea Greenway. Participants can choose from a half marathon, a 5 km race, and a 1 km race, providing options for competitive runners and families alike.

This eco-responsible event includes water and electrolyte stations on the course, bus transportation to the start line for half-marathon participants, gear check, and a focus on community and charity support, with proceeds benefiting local organizations such as La Maison Libère-Elle and La Voie Verte de Chelsea.

• Half Marathon (21.1 km): Start at Farm Point, Chelsea, QC, at 8:00 AM. Course includes the first 1.5 km along River Road towards Wakefield, then 18.5 km on the Chelsea Greenway. Water stations at KM 3, 6, 9, 11.7, 14.7, 17.8, 20.2, with electrolytes by Sparks Nutrition at KM 6, 9, 14.7, and 17.8. Bus transport from Russell Martin Baseball Park runs 6:45–7:30 AM. Gear check available.
• 5 km Race: Start at 8:20 AM at Chelsea Co Brewery. Out-and-back route with approximately 3 km on the Greenway. Entry fee $50.
• 1 km Race: Start at 11:00 AM at Chelsea Co Brewery. Short out-and-back route. Entry fee $15.
