West Rouge Sports & Recreation Association Fun Run 2026

West Rouge Sports & Recreation Association Fun Run 2026 takes place at Port Union Waterfront Park in Scarborough on Saturday, October 3, 2026. The event offers 5K and 10K run options, plus a 5K walk, on a waterfront trail route along the eastern Toronto shoreline.

The course uses the Waterfront Trail and Highland Creek trail, with a route adjustment in place because of trail construction. Instead of heading toward Rouge Beach, the race runs west from the park and keeps an out-and-back feel.

The route starts at Port Union Waterfront Park, heads west along the Waterfront Trail, crosses the Waterfront Trail Bridge, then turns north onto the Highland Creek trail. The 5K turns back at 2.5K and returns to the start; the 10K completes a second lap before finishing at Port Union Waterfront Park.

Water stations are located at the start/finish and at the 2.5K turnaround. Free parking is available at the Rouge Hill GO Station west parking lot, and washrooms are in Port Union Village Commons Park.
