About
West Rouge Sports & Recreation Association Fun Run 2026 brings a pair of run distances and a walk option to Port Union Waterfront Park on Saturday, October 3, 2026. The setting is a waterfront trail route in Scarborough, with the course using the Waterfront Trail and Highland Creek trail. Trail races in Toronto
Trail construction changes the way this course runs, so the route heads west rather than toward Rouge Beach. It keeps a straightforward out-and-back feel, with a second lap for the 10K.
Course
The route starts at Port Union Waterfront Park, heads west along the Waterfront Trail, crosses the Waterfront Trail Bridge, then turns north onto the Highland Creek trail. The 5K turns back at 2.5K and returns to the start, while the 10K completes a second lap before finishing at Port Union Waterfront Park. Water stations are placed at the start/finish and at the 2.5K turnaround; the 10K passes both twice. Free parking is available at the Rouge Hill GO Station west parking lot, and washrooms are in Port Union Village Commons Park.
