2026 Paul Wawryko Memorial Run

The Paul Wawryko Memorial Run honours Dr. Paul Wawryko on Friday, September 19, 2026 along Wellington Crescent at Doncaster Street in Winnipeg. The evening community run offers in-person 5K and 2K options plus virtual participation, with proceeds funding a University of Manitoba Pathology scholarship and other causes Paul supported.

Registration includes a t-shirt, bib, timing, and medal for in-person distances. A post-race gathering follows at 123 Doncaster St from 6:30 p.m. For Winnipeg road races and Winnipeg races, it's a memorial fundraiser on the MRA Celebration Series calendar.

The in-person event starts at 123 Doncaster Street at Wellington Crescent. Race map published via MRA event page. Virtual participants may run 2K or 5K from anywhere.
