The Maple Leaf March — La Marche Maple Leaf 2026

The Maple Leaf March — La Marche Maple Leaf returns Friday through Sunday, October 9–11, 2026, headquartered at the Royal Canadian Legion Montgomery Branch in downtown Ottawa. This non-competitive international walking festival offers 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, and Marathon walk options across the Ottawa–Gatineau National Capital Region during peak autumn foliage.

The event is an official IML Walking Association and IVV festival. Routes may cross into Gatineau, but registration, ceremonies, and start/finish for listed walks are based at the Montgomery Legion in Ottawa. For Ottawa races, it's a multi-day walking festival rather than a timed road race.

All walks depart and finish at the Royal Canadian Legion Montgomery Branch at 330 Kent Street, Ottawa. Race Roster publishes route maps for walks through Ottawa–Gatineau monuments, memorials, and parkland. Some routes cross the river into Gatineau; series city remains Ottawa (HQ/start hub).
