2026 Course pour la Compassion

Course pour la Compassion returns for its 10th edition on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Valois Park in Pointe-Claire. The family walk/run offers 1 km and 5 km options—run or walk—with dogs welcome and a Party Zone afterward featuring local merchants and family activities.

Funds support free, compassionate palliative care at the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence. The 2026 net fundraising goal is $425,000. Both distances start and finish in Valois Park. The 5 km uses park exits onto the Donegani bike path and neighbourhood streets (Maywood, St. Louis, Broadview, Belmont) before returning to the park. The 1 km heads toward Mount Pleasant and Valois Bay, then west on Belmont past the Splash Park back into the park. One on-course water station is on Maywood across from the Aquatic Centre; water is also available at the finish.
