La Course des Lutins de Val-Morin 2026

La Course des Lutins de Val-Morin is a holiday-themed family run in the village of Val-Morin, presented as the event’s 6th edition. The setting is festive and playful, with costumes, winter decorations and a community feel at the centre of the morning.

The format keeps things simple: a 5 km "Enfants Terribles" and a 1 km "Enfants Sages," both in person and non-timed. Every participant receives a bib and a medal, and the shorter run follows the 5 km so younger kids and families can join in at an easy pace.

The day is built more like a winter village gathering than a race. Expect children’s snow activities, a costume podium, local food and drink kiosks, an outdoor fire pit, and Santa for photos.

The event starts and finishes at 1121 10e Avenue in downtown Val-Morin. Both courses are outdoor, recreational routes through the village core and are listed as non-timed.

The 5 km begins at 10:30 a.m. and includes snow activities for children along the way. The 1 km starts at 11:30 a.m. and is aimed at younger kids and families. Participants receive a bib and medal. Races in Val-Morin
