Boréal Cross Country 2026 lands on Saturday, November 7, 2026 around Parc-nature du Bois-de-l’Île-Bizard, with race HQ at the Centre socioculturel de l’Île-Bizard (490 montée de l’Église). Hosted by Boréal Running Club, it’s a late-season cross-country day on fine gravel forest trails, with a post-race buffet back at the Centre.
Distances include a kids’ 1K (ages 4–11), 5K, 10K, and a 5K+10K combo. Starts are set for 9:00 a.m. (5K/combo), 10:00 a.m. (10K), and about 10:05 a.m. (1K). Among trail races near Montreal, it pairs timed racing with a community food drive for West Island Mission and the West Island Women’s Shelter.

Course
Expect fine gravel forest paths with uneven footing and moderate hills in Parc-nature du Bois-de-l’Île-Bizard. The 5K starts on Montée de l’Église near the park entrance (about a 10-minute walk from the Centre). The 10K uses the wooded trail network with a water stop around halfway; the 5K has no water table. The kids’ 1K is an out-and-back on Montée de l’Église from the same start area as the 10K. GPX/Strava links are published on the club races page.
