
Ottawa Frontrunners
Ottawa Frontrunners is a social running group that meets in Ottawa, welcoming everyone in the 2SLGBTQ+ community and their allies. This inclusive club started in 2003, inspired by the Gay Games, and now connects over 50 diverse running and walking enthusiasts annually. Members enjoy organized meetups, including:
- Tuesday Group Run: Every Tuesday at 6:30 PM, offering routes of 5, 7, and 9 km at Lisgar Street entrance of City Hall.
- Saturday Group Run: Enjoy Saturday mornings starting at 9:00 AM, with diverse pacing routes, from the same central location.
- Friday Women's Run: A dedicated session each Friday at 5:15 PM for women runners.
Ottawa Frontrunners stands out for its community spirit, participating in events like the National Capital Pride Run and offering social activities to build friendships.
