2025 Uniformed Services Run - Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Marathon

The Uniformed Services Run (USR) is the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Marathon and the oldest marathon in Canada. The 2025 event takes place September 6-7 in St. John's, featuring races starting in Bowring Park and looping through Waterford Valley, downtown St. John's, and Quidi Vidi Lake.

Proceeds benefit a selected charity; for 2025, donations go to The Islaview Foundation as chosen by last year's Battle of the Badges winner. This community-focused event offers marathon, half-marathon, relay, 10k, and family fun runs for all ages and abilities.

• Marathon and half-marathon start near Bowring Park's Caribou Memorial and loop through Waterfordbridge Road, Southside Road, downtown St. John's, and Quidi Vidi Lake
• Marathon is two loops of the half-marathon course
• Relay exchanges located at The Boulevard and near the Fighting Newfoundlander statue
• Water stations and porta-potties available at multiple course points
• Time limit for marathon is 6 hours with an option for an early start
