About
The Pemby Pounder is an exhilarating trail run in Pemberton, British Columbia, featuring steep climbs, technical descents, and varied landscapes from old-growth forests to rugged alpine vistas. The event offers two race options: a challenging 22 km route and a 9 km course suitable for newcomers to trail running.
Both courses start in the valley at the base of the McKenzie trail network. The 22 km course includes a flat to undulating start, a long climb to the lower paraglide launch with beautiful views, then proceeds uphill through the Middle Earth forest before descending back to the valley. The 9 km course tackles the Happy Trail climb and Waco connector, followed by a fun, flowy descent back to Den Duyf Park and the finish.
