Persistence Backyard Ultra 2025

The Persistence Backyard Ultra is a challenging endurance race held in Arva, Ontario. Participants run a 6.7056 km loop every hour, repeating until only one runner remains, testing stamina and strategy. This event is affiliated with Lazarus Lake's Big Dog's Backyard Ultra and offers competitors a chance to qualify for this prestigious race.

The course features a 3.36 km loop done twice each hour, comprising crushed stone trails, grass, and dirt roads. To promote community and charity, a portion of registration fees supports the Children's Health Foundation. The race is limited to 65 participants to maintain an intimate, competitive atmosphere.
