The Nova Scotia Marathon, established over 50 years ago, is held annually in Barrington, Nova Scotia, known as the "Lobster Capital of Canada." This celebrated marathon features scenic coastal views along a relatively flat and fast route, making it popular among runners aiming for a Boston Qualifier. The event includes multiple distances from youth runs to full marathon and virtual options, welcoming runners of all ages and abilities.
Runners will enjoy a well-supported course with aid stations approximately every 3 kilometers providing water and Gatorade, volunteer assistance, and official timing services offered from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Strollers are restricted on most road races to maintain safety, but youth races provide a stroller-friendly environment for family participation.
