The Niagara Falls International Marathon, established in 1974, offers runners a scenic experience along the Niagara River and past the iconic Horseshoe Falls. Originally known as the Skylon International Marathon, it has evolved over the years, with all events now taking place entirely within Canada.

Runners enjoy relatively flat courses with picturesque views of the Niagara River and Falls. The event features a marathon, half marathon, 10k and 5k in-person races, along with virtual race options available across North America.

• All races are on road surfaces
• Marathon, half marathon, and 10k start at Rapidsview Park, heading north on Niagara Parkway, with various turnaround points
• 5k starts on Niagara Parkway, heads south through Kingsbridge Park and Chippawa, finishing at Rapidsview Park
• Courses are relatively flat with picturesque views of the Niagara River and Horseshoe Falls
• Late October typical temps: 5°C to 13°C with 70-80% humidity
