About Her Majesty's Royal Races 2026
Her Majesty's Royal Races 2026 is the fourth annual running event commemorating the birthday of the late Queen Elizabeth II. Taking place on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at the HMCS Haida National Historic Site in Hamilton, Ontario, this unique event blends royal-themed festivities with a community-focused road race. Participants can choose from in-person or virtual race options, making it accessible to runners and walkers of all backgrounds and locations.
The event is known for its distinctive race kits, which include themed accessories such as fascinators, purses, or top hats, and for its exclusive finisher medals available in two elegant color options. Beyond the race, the event supports local charities, including the Army Cadet League and Hamilton Food Share, and offers participants and their supporters a special guided tour of the historic HMCS Haida. The flat, scenic waterfront course and festive atmosphere make this a standout event on the spring racing calendar.
