About
The Glen Tay Block Race is a historic 14.7 km road race held annually in Perth, Ontario, on the last Thursday of August. First run in 1907 and revived in 1967, the race starts and ends at the Perth Museum on Gore Street. The course forms a large loop running counter-clockwise through Gore and Wilson streets, Sunset Boulevard, Glen Tay Road, Scotch Line, and back to Gore Street.
Participants are encouraged to finish within 90 minutes to avoid running in the dark and dealing with traffic. On-street and town lot parking are conveniently available near the start line.
