Chase the Pace 2025

Chase the Pace is a collaborative track event presented by Mile2Marathon and Run Ottawa, welcoming runners of all abilities to experience the thrill of racing on the track. Held at the Terry Fox Athletic Facility in Ottawa, the event features a range of distances—including the 5K (5000m), Mile, 800m, and 400m—so everyone can find a race that matches their goals.

Participants benefit from expert pacers in each heat, making it easy to chase a new PB or simply enjoy a supportive racing environment. Runners are grouped in heats by pace to ensure an inclusive and motivating experience for all.

Proceeds from Chase the Pace support Big Brothers Big Sisters Ottawa, adding a community impact to every lap. Details about race kit pickup and specific start times will be provided closer to the event.

Whether you’re aiming for a fast finish or just looking for a fun day at the track, Chase the Pace brings Ottawa’s running community together for a memorable, feel-good event.
