Great White North Marathon 2027

Great White North Marathon is the running program of the Great White North Multisport Festival, produced by Milestone Racing. Race day is Sunday, July 4, 2027 at Heritage Park Pavilion in Stony Plain, Alberta.

Distances are 5K, 10K, half marathon, and the inaugural GWN Marathon (42 km). The 5K is an out-and-back on the trail system to a 2.5 km turnaround. The 10K runs out to the Olympic/10K turnaround. The half marathon is two laps; the marathon is four laps.

Starts and finishes at Heritage Park Pavilion.

• 5K: trail system to a well marked turnaround at the 2.5 km mark
• 10K: out to the Olympic/10K turnaround, then back to the finish
• Half marathon: two laps; continue 5.5 km and turn around at the Half sign
• Marathon (new for 2027): four laps, 42 km

Official start times at the Pavilion: marathon and half marathon at 8:00 a.m.; 5K and 10K at 8:15 a.m.

Saturday expo and package pickup is 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Heritage Park Pavilion, with a race orientation briefing from 1:00 to 1:30 p.m.
