Run For Barrie 2026

Run For Barrie returns Sunday, September 13, 2026 at Centennial Park, organized by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association (AMYA) in support of the Barrie Food Bank. The community event welcomes runners and walkers across 5K, 3K, and 1K options with food stalls and an awards ceremony after the races.

Registration opens at 9:00 a.m., followed by an opening ceremony, warm-up, and staggered race starts from 10:00 a.m. For more Barrie charity runs and road races in Barrie, it's a September food-bank fundraiser on the lakeshore.

Races start from Centennial Park on Lakeshore Drive. The 5K uses a two-lap route; 3K and 1K follow separate marked courses in the park area. All distances are road/path surfaces along the waterfront park.
