2026 Ottawa Fire Truck Pull

The Ottawa Fire Truck Pull returns Saturday, September 26, 2026 in the ByWard Market as part of Bytown 200th celebrations and in partnership with Nuit Blanche Ottawa/Gatineau. Teams of 10 compete head-to-head to pull 10+ tonne Ottawa Fire Services trucks 100 feet along a 100-foot course.

There is no registration fee; each team commits to raising a minimum of $1,000 for Epilepsy Ottawa and the Ottawa First Responders Foundation. Presented in partnership with Ottawa Fire Services. For Ottawa races, this is a team strength challenge rather than a timed road race.

Head-to-head team pulls take place in the ByWard Market at 55 ByWard Market Square. Each team of up to 10 members (participants must be at least 13) pulls a fire truck 100 feet. Chez 106.1 hosts teams and spectators from 6:00 p.m.; the official pull begins at 7:00 p.m.
