About
The 2026 Muskoka Marathon brings a fall road-racing weekend to Santa’s Village in Bracebridge, with distances spread across Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4. It’s an Athletics Ontario-sanctioned event with all starts and finishes at the park on Golden Beach Road.
The route is built around the Muskoka River and autumn scenery, and the marathon and half marathon are laid out on paved roads with a reputation for being quick. Runners can choose from the 5K through the marathon, with the weekend format giving each distance its own race-day rhythm.
For runners looking for a local road race in the region, this is a strong autumn option in Bracebridge. Road races in Bracebridge
