2026 Faculty of Health Fun Run

The Faculty of Health Fun Run returns on University of Waterloo Homecoming morning, Saturday, September 19, 2026. One of the university's longest-standing traditions, it welcomes faculty, staff, alumni, students, families with strollers, and community members for a chip-timed 2.5K or 5K run, jog, or walk.

Check-in opens at 8:00 a.m. at the Health Expansion Building, with a 9:30 a.m. start and awards on BMH Green at 10:30 a.m. Registration includes a Fun Run t-shirt and finisher prize, with proceeds supporting the Healthy Waterloo initiative.

The 5K follows a certified campus route published by the Faculty of Health; the 2.5K uses an approximately 2.5 km route on university grounds. Check-in is at the Health Expansion Building (EXP) with the start at 9:30 a.m. and awards at BMH Green.
