Canada Day Barrie 2026

Canada Day Barrie 2026 takes over Barrie on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 with a small lineup built around a 5K, a 1K Kids Run, and a virtual option. The in-person start is at Heritage Park on Simcoe Street, with the morning schedule keeping things simple for runners, walkers, and families.

The event pairs a community race-day feel with Canada Day touches, including swag and finisher medals for the in-person races. Fundraising also supports Seasons Centre for Grieving Children, which gives the day a local cause alongside the holiday start.

For runners comparing local road options, it fits alongside other road races in Barrie.
