The UniversalCare Strides for Seniors is an annual event supporting CIBPA PLACE, York Region's first Residential Respite Dementia Care Centre. The family-friendly event features 5km and 2.5km routes through North Maple Regional Park, offering scenic routes, food trucks, entertainment, participant swag, and activities for all ages.

Over four years, the event has raised $3.163 million net for senior-centric programs in York, Toronto, and Peel Region. The 2025 fundraising goal is $500,000 toward a $3.6 million campaign to fund the purchase, renovation, and maintenance of CIBPA PLACE.
