About
Wandering Moose is PACE Trail Runs’ late-season trail race in Kelowna, built around the Myra Bellevue and KVR corridor. The event returns to some of the area’s most familiar trail terrain, with a mix of canyon scenery, technical singletrack, and long stretches of rail-grade trail to string the day together.
Runners can choose 35K, 25K, or 12K, with a small kids race also on the schedule. The 2026 edition uses the historic Kettle Valley Railway start zone and moves quickly from open KVR running into the tighter, more technical trails above Myra Bellevue Provincial Park.

Course
Courses start on the KVR near 1,250 m and finish at Myra Adventure Park in the Myra Bellevue area. Expect a mix of flat rail-grade trail, loamy singletrack, rooty and rocky sections, creek crossings, and sustained climbing and descending.
The 12K begins with about 2.5 km on the KVR before dropping into upper Myra Bailout and Angel Springs. The 25K starts with 1.5 km of flat KVR, then runs Capitan Nemo, Lost Lake, Bellvue Access, Blancher’s Silver, Doc Savage, Lookout, and Crawford before the final descent on Myra Bailout and Angel Springs. The 35K follows the same opening KVR and upper-trail sequence, then adds more technical descending and a longer return through Crawford-area trails before finishing on Angel Springs.
