A Viking's Challenge 2025

Founded in 2020 by melanoma survivor Chris Isfeld, A Viking's Challenge is an annual fundraiser supporting the Save Your Skin Foundation. Participants can run or walk across the frozen Lake Winnipeg or join virtually from anywhere, raising funds to assist skin cancer patients across Canada.

The event takes place each March as part of the Gimli Ice Festival, offering flexible start times and multiple distance options including 10 km, 20 km, and 30 km.
