The 36th annual 12 Mile Creek Trail Half Marathon & 7k Cancer Run features a historic 21 km route along the first Welland Canal, including the Merritt Trail towards downtown St. Catharines and a challenging ascent up Hydro Hill on the Niagara Escarpment. The 7 km race offers a shorter, demanding trail section that incorporates the latter part of the half marathon course. It is a scenic and well-supported event ideal for trail runners and walkers alike.

* Historic 21.1 km half marathon route follows the first Welland Canal and Merritt Trail. * Approximately 80% of the course is hard-packed gravel on scenic 12 Mile Creek Trail. * Features out-and-back and looped sections with multiple rolling hills. * 7 km race incorporates latter part of half marathon trail section, offering a challenging but shorter course.

• Long sleeve t-shirt guaranteed to pre-registered runners on or before May 18, 2025.
• Returning participants can have their names printed on the back of the shirts.
• Field limited to 275 participants across all events.
• Six electrolyte and water stations along the route.
