About
TTUAH — Trail Terrier Ultra Around Hamilton is a 100-mile trail ultra based in Carlisle, just outside Hamilton. The event is built around a full-city circumnavigation, with runners moving through the communities that make up Hamilton on a course that leans into long-haul trail endurance.
The 2026 edition is set up as a flexible ultra challenge, with an all-at-once option for runners aiming to finish inside the 40-hour window, and a longer completion window for those breaking the distance into stages. That makes it a rare kind of local ultra: ambitious, but still shaped around different ways to get the mileage done.
For runners looking for a trail event in southern Ontario with a strong distance focus, TTUAH sits squarely in that space. It’s a straightforward ultra concept with a clear route identity and a finish-on-your-own-terms feel.

Course
The race starts and finishes at 1345 Centre Road in Carlisle, ON. The route runs clockwise for 2026, beginning with a right turn onto Centre Road (south).
Course notes point to a 100-mile circumnavigation of Hamilton, with runners moving through Ancaster, Dundas, Flamborough, Glanbrook, Stoney Creek, and Hamilton. The route is trail-based, and runners are asked to use the course map on their phone for race-day reference.
The event is designed around two completion styles: one continuous effort inside 40 hours, or a staged completion across June. Crew and pacer support is allowed.
