The Tely 10 Mile Road Race, first held in 1922, is one of Canada's oldest and most popular road races. The 10-mile (16.1 km) point-to-point course starts in Paradise, proceeds east through Mount Pearl, and finishes in Bannerman Park in downtown St. John's. The event attracts over 4,000 participants annually, showcasing the community spirit and history of the region.
Runners experience a scenic net downhill route primarily along Topsail Road, with a welcoming atmosphere and organized support. The race embraces runners of all abilities while enforcing a minimum age restriction of 15 years, ensuring a safe and competitive event.
