The Bad Thing is a challenging point-to-point trail race held in Huron County, Ontario, along the scenic Maitland Trail. The race offers 25K and 50K distances, starting in Goderich and finishing at the Auburn Riverside Retreat. Expect highly technical single-track trails, as well as some road and groomed trail sections.

This event is not suitable for inexperienced trail runners due to tough, muddy terrain and difficult course features. Participants must be at least 18 years old, and a mandatory bus ride is provided from the finish line back to the start.
