St. Albert Road Race 2026

The St. Albert Road Race is scheduled for April 19, 2026, in St. Albert, Alberta. It brings together local runners, recreational joggers and walkers for a spring road-running event set against the city’s neighbourhoods and parkways.

Race day is a single-day road race held in mid-April. The event typically runs a program of multiple distances and staggered starts to accommodate different paces and age groups, so participants can expect a compact race schedule that keeps morning and early-afternoon activity focused and spectator-friendly.

What makes the St. Albert Road Race a stand-out in the region is its community focus. Local volunteers and businesses support the day, creating a neighbourhood atmosphere along the course and at the finish area. The timing in spring gives runners a chance to test early-season fitness on paved streets with mostly flat to gently rolling terrain, and the event draws a mix of serious club athletes and families out for a lively morning of running.

Runners should watch race communications for registration windows and start lists as the event approaches. If planning to race in April, add the date to your spring calendar and check for event updates as entries and wave times are posted.
