Seaton Scramble Trail Race 2026

The Seaton Scramble Trail Race lands on May 9, 2026 in Pickering, Ontario. Organized by Durham Trail Runners, this spring trail event showcases the club’s community-driven approach to off-road racing and group trail running in the Seaton and Heber Down conservation areas.

The race offers a range of distances to suit different ambitions: 7K, 15K, 25K and a 50K for those chasing a full ultra challenge, plus a 1K fun run for kids. Runners can expect a single-day, springtime race format with multiple course options that loop through technical trail terrain and scenic sections of the conservation lands.

What sets Seaton Scramble apart is its club-run feel and its emphasis on technical, vista-rich trails. Organizers describe the courses as challenging and technical — rocky, rooty singletrack with rolling elevation and several viewpoint sections. Durham Trail Runners supports participants beyond race day through regular club runs, experienced pacers and an event race manual that details course logistics and race procedures.

Registration opens through Race Roster; interested runners can register online or contact Jennifer at Durham Trail Runners for event information and logistics. Entrants are encouraged to review the race manual and club communications for parking, trailhead access and pre-race instructions.
