The Santa Shuffle began 34 years ago in Edmonton, Alberta, to fundraise for local Salvation Army initiatives when local Running Room members decided to use their passion for running to support those less fortunate. Since 2001, it has grown into a national event with locations across every province in Canada.

This festive event features the 5K Fun Run, 1K Elf Walk, and family/group options, all starting in Lower Sackville along the scenic First Lake Trail. Participants receive a free race shirt and medal, making it a joyful community celebration in early December.
