Run4Lighthouse is Lighthouse for Grieving Children’s largest annual fundraiser, bringing runners, walkers, donors, volunteers and local families together in support of free grief programs for children, youth and their families in the Halton Region.

The event takes place at Spencer Smith Park in Burlington and includes both 1K and 5K options. It is set up as a community fundraiser, with a warm-up and opening remarks before the starts.

Lighthouse’s work centres on helping grieving children and families find belonging, connection and understanding after the death of a family member. Participation and donations directly support those free programs.

Run4Lighthouse uses Spencer Smith Park as the start and finish area. The event is based at the Burlington waterfront, with the venue listed at 1400 Lakeshore Rd., Burlington, ON L7S 1B3.

The schedule includes warm-up and opening remarks at 8:30 AM, followed by the 1K at 9:00 AM and the 5K at 9:30 AM. The event offers in-person 1K and 5K walk/run options, with virtual options also listed in registration.
