The Rainbow Trail Run features a 12K loop around Earl Rowe Provincial Park, consisting of mostly double-wide trails with grass, dirt, minimal pavement, and bridge crossings over Earl Rowe Lake. The course is relatively flat with a short climb to the Lookout, making it ideal for those new to trail running.

Participants will enjoy a scenic and accessible trail experience with aid stations providing water, electrolytes, and snacks, as well as a post-race BBQ with meat and non-meat options. Note that the event is cup-free, so runners should bring their own reusable cups or bottles.
