Hosted at Kawartha Nordic in North Kawartha, Ontario, this event offers a mix of gravel, grass, woods, and deep trails on a freshly cut, very flat course designed to be accessible to entry-level athletes and those seeking a fast training run.

Focusing on environmental responsibility, the race promotes green initiatives such as carpooling and limiting athlete numbers to support sustainability. Participants enjoy a welcoming atmosphere with options ranging from a junior 2 km race to a challenging 52 km ultra event.
