M2M Road Mile @ Shim's

M2M Road Mile @ Shim's brings fast 1-mile road racing to Jonathan Rogers Park in Vancouver on Saturday, July 4, 2026. Hosted by Mile2Marathon Vancouver during Shim's Cycling Grandprix, it gives runners a sharp, high-energy chance to race one of the sport's most exciting distances.

The format is simple: one mile, closed-road racing, and no pacers. With separate races planned for men/non-binary and women/non-binary runners, cash prizes, a mid-race prime, food trucks, and a beer garden on site, this is built as a summer race-day festival as much as a speed test.

The race is planned as roughly two laps of a closed road course based at Jonathan Rogers Park. It is a short, direct 1-mile format designed for committed racing rather than pacing, with runners able to stay afterward for the cycling races, food trucks, and beer garden.
