The ECT Ultra Marathon is a challenging 50 km trail race along the scenic East Coast Trail. Starting at sunrise in Pouch Cove and finishing at sunset in Quidi Vidi, this event offers an immersive race experience in Newfoundland and Labrador. Finishers receive a Curly Wurly and can enjoy homemade chili and beer at the finish line inside the Inn of Olde.

With aid stations at Flatrock and Middle Cove, and mandatory safety gear requirements, this ultra emphasizes safety and participant enjoyment along a well-marked route.

• Distance: 50 km trail run
• Route runs along the East Coast Trail from Pouch Cove to Quidi Vidi
• Participants should avoid side viewpoints unless desired
• No cups provided; bring your own hydration containers
• Stroller not allowed

• Start Time: Sunrise at 07:35
• Finish Time: Sunset at 17:54
• Mandatory Gear: Safety whistle and cell phone; jacket and head covering may be required depending on weather
• Aid Stations: Water and Powerade at Flatrock and Middle Cove; participants must bring personal food and hydration containers
• Route Marking: Flagging tape and arrows on roads; follow East Coast Trail wooden signs
• Cut-off Time: Reach Logy Bay by 15:30 to finish before dark
• Finish Line: Inside the Inn of Olde with warm food and a Curly Wurly for finishers
