Dead Cold Run Saskatoon 2026

The Dead Cold Run series is a thrilling winter running event that takes place across several Canadian cities, including Saskatoon. Known for its unique cold-weather charm, the Saskatoon edition, dubbed "Run Away the Chill," offers runners a chance to embrace the winter season along the scenic snow-packed trails of Meewasin Park. Scheduled for Sunday, February 22, 2026, this event is designed to provide a memorable experience with its combination of challenging courses, themed memorabilia, and a supportive community atmosphere.

Participants can choose from multiple race distances, each promising a fun and invigorating run through the heart of Saskatoon's winter landscape. The event is organized by the Dead Cold Run/Multisportscanada group, ensuring a well-coordinated experience with amenities like chip timing, water stations, and post-race food. Beyond the race itself, the event supports a meaningful cause, with proceeds benefiting the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation’s "Mending Little Hearts Fund," making each step taken a contribution to pediatric health in Saskatchewan.
