The Caledon Crusher 2026 is a premier trail-running event set in the scenic Caledon Hills of Ontario, Canada. Organized by Crazy Cat Adventures, this annual race draws trail enthusiasts from across the region to experience the rugged beauty of the Bruce Trail. The 2026 edition is scheduled for Saturday, April 11, and continues the tradition of challenging runners with technical terrain and significant elevation changes.

Participants can choose from three demanding distances: 25k, 50k, and the ultra-endurance E2E (72k). The event is known for its community spirit, with a portion of proceeds supporting the Caledon Hills Bruce Trail Section, helping to maintain and preserve these cherished trails. Runners enjoy well-stocked aid stations, unique race swag, and a supportive atmosphere, making the Caledon Crusher a highlight of the Ontario trail-running calendar.

The Caledon Crusher course traverses the Caledon Hills section of the Bruce Trail, offering a mix of singletrack and doubletrack paths. Runners encounter numerous technical sections, rocky outcrops, and rolling hills. The 25k route features approximately 850 meters of elevation gain, the 50k boasts around 1,200 meters, and the E2E (72k) challenges runners with about 2,100 meters of climbing. The course is marked only with the Bruce Trail's white blazes, requiring participants to be attentive and familiar with trail navigation. Weather in April can be variable, so mandatory gear is required for longer distances, including a rain jacket, headlamp, and hydration pack.
