The Barrelman Niagara Falls is a point-to-point triathlon beginning at the Welland International Flatwater Centre and finishing near Niagara Falls. It features a single-loop 2km swim in calm waters, a new 90km bike course with two loops along the Niagara Parkway, and a relatively flat 21.1km run with some challenging hills. In 2025, an Olympic Distance race was also introduced.

This race offers scenic views of the Niagara region and attracts up to 1,250 athletes each September, providing a well-organized challenge for triathletes of all levels.

• Swim: 2,000m single-loop in canal at Welland International Flatwater Centre
• Bike: 90km on well-paved roads with approx. 64km closed roads; Olympic Bike course has 25km closed roads (first in Ontario)
• Run: Relatively flat 21.1km course with a couple challenging hills
• Race surfaces primarily road: swim in open water canal, bike and run on paved roads and pathways

• New 90km bike course with two loops along the Niagara Parkway
• Olympic Distance race added in 2025
