5 Peaks Trail Running Series: Bowmont Park 2025

Join us for the third event in the 5 Peaks Trail Running Series on the scenic trails of Bowmont Park in northwest Calgary. Overlooking the beautiful Bow River, Bowmont Park offers a singletrack-focused route that will challenge runners with punchy climbs and fast descents. The reward? Beautiful Bow River valley and city skyline views. Distances for all ages, abilities, and ambitions.

* Route begins west on the Sideshow Bob trail with spectacular valley and river views * Course features rolling hills, steep climbs, and fast descents

• Start/Finish at Varsity Village Park next to Christine Meikle School
• No dogs, headphones, strollers, or Nordic poles allowed on course
• Washrooms available at Start/Finish
• Spectators welcome, with best viewing at Start/Finish
• Limited parking; carpooling encouraged
• Awards for top three finishers by gender and age category per distance
• Event is cup-free; bring reusable cups or containers
