About 2026 Wild Lakes 10K
Urban Trail Racing’s Wild Lakes 10K returns Sunday, May 3, 2026, from the Maskwa Aquatics Club parking lot into the Blue Mountain–Birch Cove Lakes protected wilderness. The 10K loop passes five lakes on single-track trail — an approachable spring trail race within Halifax Regional Municipality.
Halifax Search & Rescue’s Eco-Endurance Challenge (E2C) runs concurrently, so you may share trails with 24-hour navigation racers. Organizers ask runners to bring drinking containers for aid stations. For more trail races in Halifax and other Halifax races, it’s Urban Trail Racing’s spring opener in the Birch Cove greenbelt.
