Superhero Stomp 2026

Superhero Stomp returns to Barrie's waterfront on Saturday, September 12, 2026, hosted by Candlelighters Simcoe during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Families dress as superheroes for a lakeshore walk or run supporting local children and families on a childhood cancer journey.

Pre-event activities begin at 10:00 a.m., with opening ceremonies and the run/walk start at 11:00 a.m. For more charity runs in Barrie and road races in Barrie, it's a family-friendly September fundraiser on Lakeshore Drive.

The event is staged near Southshore Community Centre at 205 Lakeshore Drive on Barrie's waterfront. Participants choose a 1–3 km walk or run route along the lakeshore path. Awards and pizza wrap up around 11:30 a.m.
