Steep Ultra 2026

Steep Ultra 2026 takes place on September 5, 2026 in Corner Brook, Newfoundland and Labrador. This mountain ultramarathon brings runners into Western Newfoundland’s Long Range Mountains for a demanding day on the trails. Choose from 50K, 100K, or the new 50K relay and take on a route that blends singletrack, gravel road, and ridge-line running with big climbs, valley views, and a true western Newfoundland course feel.

The route moves through the Humber Valley, Marble Mountain, Massey Drive, and Corner Brook Gorge, with sustained climbing, forest trail, and technical mountain-bike trail sections. Course notes mention aid stations, a turnaround for the 100K, and a mix of singletrack, doubletrack, road, and gravel connectors.
