Somba K'e Backyard Ultra 2026

Somba K'e Backyard Ultra is Yellowknife's first backyard ultra, held Saturday, September 19, 2026 at the Yellowknife Ski Club. Runners begin a 6.7K loop at the top of every hour and must finish before the next lap begins; the event continues until one runner remains or the 24-hour limit is reached.

Each loop is 6.7 kilometres and begins on the hour. Participants must complete the entire loop and return to the start corral before the next lap begins. The event is capped at 24 hours if no final runner remains earlier.
