Run4Sudan Calgary 2026

Calgary's inaugural Run4Sudan takes place Sunday, July 26, 2026 at RiverWalk Plaza in East Village, raising funds for emergency appeal efforts in Sudan in partnership with Sadagaat-Canada and IDRF. Participants can choose a 5K run, 1K walk, or kids race, with community activities, food, and local vendor prizes included in every entry package.

The event welcomes all ages and abilities — walk, jog, run, or stay for the community BBQ. For more road races in Calgary and other Calgary races, it's a new solidarity fundraiser on the Bow River pathway.

The event is staged at RiverWalk Plaza in East Village. Access via Confluence Way SE (Bow Cycle), the south side of George C. King Bridge, or the Bow River pathway past the Simmons Building. The 5K run starts at 12:30 p.m. and the 1K walk at 12:45 p.m.
